Red-Core Tieguanyin is grown from a cultivar where the buds and accompanying leaves possess a reddish hue. This tea is cultivated in the high mountains of Anxi Province, the home of the original tieguanyin tea.
This tea embodies the rustic and unrefined style of classic tieguanyin without the removal of the stems. The tea broth is elegant and silky, offering flavors reminiscent of jasmine and orchid.
