Among the villages in Mengsong Township, Baotang Village is particularly well-known for its ancient tea gardens. The aborigines in the area are mainly of the Lahu tribe, who planted the tea trees centuries ago. The aroma of the dry leaves possesses honey and rose fragrance. The tea broth is brisk, soft, and well-balanced. The initial slight bitterness quickly turns into a sweet aftertaste that coats your throat. Smell the empty cup after the tea is consumed to continue enjoying the intoxicating aroma this tea offers. This is an incredible raw pu-erh that is ready to be drunk now or to be aged for the future.

Also available in a 5-cake tung.
