Weight: 100g or 3.5 oz (8 to 10 pcs depending on the size of each piece)
Type: Ripe Pu-erh (fermented) stuffed into the shell of a green mandarin.
Production area: Green mandarin peel is from Xinhui, Guangdong Prefecture. Ripe pu-erh is from Yunnan Province.

This tea is 100% hand-crafted. Premium ripe pu-erh is stuffed into a hollow green mandarin shell, dried under the sun, and two tiny bamboo strips brace a lid to cover the opening of the fruit.

Mandarin fruits are picked at varying periods starting in July when the fruits are still green and not fully ripened. The fruits of these unripened green mandarins are not consumed but are perfect to blend with ripe pu-erh. The earthy flavor of the ripe pu-erh is enhanced by the tangy citrus flavor from the green mandarin peel, resulting in a refreshing and delicious drink, whether served cold or hot.

Mandarin peels are known for their soothing qualities. They can be aged since the fragrance and medicinal properties both improve over time.
