Taste characteristics: This tea is produced by the same factory as our best-selling The Taste of Menghai Ripe Pu-erh. Made with leaves from old-growth tea trees in the Bulang tea region, this tea is full-body, flavorful, and rich. What sets this tea apart from other ripe pu-erhs is its velvety, thick, and viscous texture and it’s incredible mouthfeel. Ripe pu-erh of this high quality typically costs a lot more. However, because we were able to source it direct from the factory, we can offer our customers this tea for an affordable price.
So tasty 07/22/2022 ByChris I’m currently enjoying the end of my sample of this tea. I am for sure ordering a full cake. I was very surprised by the taste and experience. It is delicious and thick in the mouth. Its warming and brightening, yet grounding and relaxing. I can be very sensitive to the Cha Qi of tea. This is a very balancing experience for my body, and possibly a tea I could drink every day.
