Weight: 5 grams (Loose leaf)
Type: Raw (unfermented) Pu'erh
Production area: Menghai, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province

Taste characteristics:
When raw pu-erh has been aged for decades under an ideal storage environment, with specific temperatures and ambient humidity, an elegant and enchanting camphor wood scent emerges in the tea. Brewed to a reddish amber hue, this rare aged raw pu-erh offers an elegant old camphor wood scent that is reminiscent of an antique store. It is mellow, yet has a rich mouthfeel and long finish. Teas of this age are very savory and relaxing. This tea can be steeped many times.

Well Age and Interesting Tea 02/20/2022
By Richard Wong
This “1975 Camphor Scent Aged Raw Pu-erh” is a well aged raw pu-erh tea much like the “"Old Hong Kong Raw Pu-Erh Tea". Both are kindly offered by BanaTea Company. This 1975 Camphor tea is well developed, has a nice mouth feel, but a more complex interesting aroma/taste profile than the Old Hong Kong tea. This 1975 Camphor tea is more expensive though at about $5 per gram. It is well worth for anyone who like well aged raw pu-erh tea and still have a small amount of raw pu-erh profile.
Our responseThank you for the nice review. I often brew this tea for friends after dinner. It lasts a long time and gets sweeter in later brews, which makes it a nice mellow drink for the evening.
