Taste characteristics: This tea is a blend of spring leaves harvested from old arbor trees in Menghai and Lincang. As an experienced tea blender, Master Vesper Chan was able to showcase in this tea the unique characteristics of Pu-erhs from these two famous tea regions. The initial taste of this tea is smooth and stable and it is followed with layers of flavors and a cooling finish.
This tea competed at the 2020 International Taste Institute in Brussels and won a three-star Superior Taste Award. This is the first time a Chinese tea won this high honor. Congratulations to Master Chan!
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Use 5g of leaves per 6 ounces of water. Rinse the leaves once with hot water (195 degree F) and discard the water. Start steeping according to the recommended steeping time below. Decant the tea after each steeping.
