Gaiwan - Blue and White Landscape

Gaiwan - Twin Quails Design

Gaiwans are used to brew tea in the traditional style of the Chinese Gongfu (Kungfu) Tea Ceremoney. In the ancient Qinghua style (white porcelain decorated with cobalt blue pigment), this design is of two quails peacefully mingling in the brush. This is a smaller gaiwan that is 3.35" wide x 3.25" tall and holds up to 3.5 ounces of tea to lid level. It is the perfect size when brewing tea for just one person.

Dimensions: 3.35 wide x 3.25 tall as shown
Capacity: 3.5 oz. of tea
$15.00
for the 3-piece set (cup, saucer & lid)
