Unlike most black teas, which are made from tea bushes, this tea is made from leaves picked in early spring from ancient arbor trees in the mountains of Yunnan. The unique raw materials contribute to a tea that is full-bodied, rich, smooth, and exceptionally delicious. A black tea made from such premium materials is hard to come by and guarantees a unique sensory experience not found from other black teas. It is worth every penny. Bana is very pleased to be able to restock this tea from Denong Tea Company.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Use 3g per 4-5 oz of water. Rinse the leaves briefly with boiling water.
Then brew according to the recommended steeping times below.

This little gem of a tea is truly THE BEST Black Tea I’ve ever tasted!!
It has a well-rounded taste and a full-bodied aroma, both which enhance it’s appeal. It is a tea you can drink all day long, either for relaxation or when a little “pick-me-up” is needed.
All of Bana Tea Company’s teas are made from the highest quality leaves and this Black tea is no exception!
At Bana Tea Company there is an extensive variety of teas to choose from..something that will appeal to even the most discriminating palate.

most lovely black tea ever 10/20/2021

I have ordered this tea multiple times and every time I intend to sit and write, but it never happens!! Today I just finished a cup and I have to say that this tea is the most lovely black tea ever! The floral notes on the back of the tongue are amazing, the earthiness mixed with the floral is wonderful. This has become my daily treat in late morning - to sit quietly and savor each sip. I just ordered the Apple Spice black tea which is also very lovely. I will have to do a tasting of each side by side, what fun!! If you have other recommendations for black tea, please pass them along. Thank you for offering these wonderful teas.

This amazing Black Tea has quickly become one of my favorite teas! Even my wife, who traditionally is a coffee drinker, is hooked on the little gem!

Comparing two black teas 10/31/2020

I wanted to try this against the Golden Tip Nepalese Black Tea. I found the Yunnan Black Tea to have a layer earthiness that the Golden Tip doesn't have. Both teas have that malty sweetness that make them such a comforting drink for a quiet Saturday morning. They are both Amazing.
