Weight: 50 grams (1.76 oz) Type: Black Tea - loose leaf Production area: Fengqing, Lincang County, Yunnan Province
Fengqing tea-producing region was the place where Yunnan Black (also known as Dian Hong) was first produced in the 1930’s. Different from the regular Yunnan Black, the Apple Spice is made from arbor trees averaging 100-years-old. It is bright, full-bodied, and offers apple and honey notes. As this tea is made from arbor tea trees and not small bushes, it is more complex and the leaves last many steepings. The robust and complex flavors of this tea withstands very well to the addition of milk. If you want a break from morning coffee, try this Yunnan Black milk tea for a change and you will be pleasantly surprised.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Use 5g of leaves for 6 oz. of water. Rinse the leaves briefly with boiling water. Then brew according to the recommended steeping times below.
I love this black tea09/21/2021 BySara K. This is one of my favorite black teas I've ever tried. It actually does smell like apples. On the later brews, I like to added dried coconut water crystals (I don't do this on the first three brews because I want to appreciate the fullest flavor in the early brews). Our responseThis is my new favorite black tea too. So flavorful! Glad you like it.
