Autumn harvest in Yunnan is picked from late September to early November. This period is the harvest season for grains and there are fragrant flowers everywhere. Hence, an autumn harvest is called “Grain Flower Tea” (Guhua Cha).

Although not as rich as spring tea, autumn tea is mellow and subtle with a nice long finish. This tea is made with leaves from old trees and thus offers well-balanced flavors and relaxing qi.

I had received a sample of this Autumn raw sometime last year did not thank much about it. Went ahead and purchased a cake of this Mengsong Autumn and was very impressed with this puerh. Good throat fill sweet a lot of flavor enjoyed very much.

This is a special tea. So delicious, and can be steeped many times and maintain a range of delicious flavor. Mouth feel so good also!
