This gaiwan is made of fine porcelain and depicts two birds perched above a red-tipped blossom and leaves. Tea connoisseurs often brew the tea right in the gaiwan although it may also be used conventionally as a tea cup, the lid serving the dual function of keeping the tea warm and to block the tea leaves from consumption.

Top of the list04/07/2020 ByPalma Jones The Bana Tea Company under the leadership of Linda Louie is a company with integrity and superior service to their customers. I placed an online order on a weekend and later that day decided on another item. Linda Louie emailed me the next day to ask my okay to combine the two orders into one package to save on shipping. When the package arrived the next day, it was packed as carefully and neatly as a precious and valuable gift. I was thrilled and impressed. The items inside were exactly as the photos online. In my 22 years working in retail, mainly in customer service, I'm keenly observant to how the customer is respected and treated. Linda Louie and Bana Tea make the very top of my list. Congratulations Linda, and thank you again. Our responseI am speechless! Thank you so much for the high praise. I am glad I've earned your trust and confidence.
