"Chinese Fables and Tea Tasting" Tea Programs at the Huntington Library May 16, 2015

Angie Lee (of 1001 Plateaus) and Linda Louie will be presenting an adult program and a children’s program at the beautiful Huntington Library, Pasadena, California on May 16, 2015. From the myth of the God of Agriculture discovering tea on a windy day to the tale of the Emperor of China taking off his ermine robe to protect tea trees, the history of Chinese tea is filled with imaginative stories and fables. After a docent-led tour of the Chinese Garden, join Angie Lee of 1001 Plateaus and Linda Louie of Bana Tea Company to explore the history of tea and the tasting of Chinese teas and non-caffeinated tisanes. Boys & girls ages 7–12 are welcome at the children program. Fee includes one accompanying adult. Please visit www.huntington.org closer to program date for times and specifics.

Join us at the 2015 World Tea Expo, May 6 - 8
