Taste characteristics: Deep in the forest in Mengsung, there are thousands of tea trees that grow naturally in the pristine eco-system. The fresh leaves from these trees are cooling, floral and balanced. This tea cake is made from these leaves. Soft and flavorful, this tea exudes a strong "hui gan" that cools the back end of your mouth for an extended time. What distinguishes this tea from other famous mountain teas is its delightful floral flavor.
To prevent further destruction of the natural habitat of these trees, the proprietors asked us not to disclose the location of the tea garden. This cake is custom-made for Bana and supply is very limited.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Use 5g of tea leaves and brew in a 3-4 oz gaiwan or Yixing teapot. After a quick rinse of the leaves using boiling water, wait for a couple of minutes for the water to cool to around 190º F / 90º C.
