Weight: 75 gram (2.65 oz)
Type: Wuyi Rock Oolong - Da Hong Pao - standard grade
Production area: Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Province

Da Hong Pao is the most popular Wuyi Yan Cha. This Da Hong Pao is a Ban Yan Cha (Semi-Rock Tea), which is a tea made from tea bushes grown outside of the Wuyi National Scenic Area.

Taste characteristics:
Although not as complex as the Jade Buddha Da Hong Pao, this tea is rich and aromatic. It offers a bouquet of dried pineapple, roasted nuts and osmanthus flavors. It leaves a pleasant sweet aftertaste in your mouth long after you have finished the tea. It is truly a delightful tea for a very affordable price.

Legendary tea at an everyday price 04/27/2023
By Andy
I finally got to try this famous rock oolong, and I must say I'm really quite happy with it! You can taste the notes of cassia flowers in this pure tea, as well as a hint of minerality I'm guessing is the "rock" part. Got a lot of resteeps out of this one, it's quite an excellent way to treat yourself to a little luxury every now and again. Mahalo nui loa
